Explore the exquisite beauty of the Arctic on a three day adventure trip, 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle. You'll start by meeting your guide for a welcome drink, before heading to Musher's lodge. There you'll be kitted out in Arctic clothes and meet your team of dogs, before a short tour of the area and dinner under the Northern Lights. Then snuggle down for the night, because in the morning you'll be dogsledding across the frozen wilderness, stopping off for lunch at a lodge next to a frozen lake. Your destination is the astonishing Ice Hotel: a chic hotel built from the ice each year, which melts away every spring. Relax in the Ice Bar, go for a sauna and then curl up in your thermal sleeping bags for a night in a bedroom made completely of ice. The experience also includes a fabulous snowmobile tour - part of everyday life up here in the Arctic but fantastic fun nonetheless! Accommodation, equipment and some meals are included. Flights to and from Kiruna are not included.

Imagine crashing through the undergrowth, dodging exploding paintballs, hiding in bunkers, or spying on your enemies from on high. On arrival, you will be kitted out with freshly laundered combat coveralls, full face protection paintball goggles and a top of the range semi-automatic paintball gun with an impressive 500 paintballs each. You will be given a full safety briefing by an experienced marshal before commencing play. This is a real chance to shake off your day-to-day responsibilities and rekindle your spirit of adventure. There are between four and six games included, played out within differently themed areas and zones, set up to test your skills of strategy, leadership, navigation and teamwork.
Life during medieval times might have been grubby, brutal and plague-ridden, but give them their due - they knew how to have fun. And so could the two of you as you make like a knight during this day of old-fashioned antics. You'll start off with a riding assessment, an overview of the equipment and an introduction to the history of jousting. Then you'll take part in various activities on and off your horse, all originally rooted in learning the art of war, including neck reining and learning how to use a flag, lance and shield. Then practise with your lance on the formidable quintaine, a spinning target. After lunch you'll both learn a choreographed fight sequence, including broad sword or quarterstaff fighting, before dressing in medieval costume (oh yes, you're going the whole medieval hog here) and putting all you've learnt into action during a tournament. The day will end with the presentation of certificates, and then you can ride off to find a few dragons to slay!
21st century living is all about comfort and cosiness - often our idea of adventure is ordering a different takeaway. But we were designed to be capable of much more! Leave the mod-cons at home and rediscover your survival instincts with a weekend in the wild. Say hello to your fellow survivors as you sort out equipment preparation and get some initial instruction. You'll then set off together across a 500 acre site on an awareness walk using a map and compass, with training in all sorts of survival techniques - learn about edible plants, survival medicine, firelighting, skinning food (oh yes, this is proper survival), food preparation, collecting water and navigation. You'll build your own shelter - make it a good one, you'll be spending the night in it - before preparing your meal and cooking it over an open fire. Then bed down in your shelter for the night in the wilderness. Learn more survival techniques on Sunday and enjoy a survival-style Sunday lunch to wrap up your weekend.
You've got to hand it the army - they've definitely got the best wheels. You can't beat a day driving around in military vehicles and shooting at stuff. All the fun of being a soldier with none of the risks. You'll be kitted out in a camouflage suit and helmet and given a full safety briefing. During the course of the day you'll drive a Russian Grozdilka tank, a fully amphibious Hagglund tracked carrier, an FV 432 armoured personnel carrier and a Rapier rocket carrier. You'll get a ride in a Lance missile carrier, spend an hour in the armoury and there are other military-themed activities too - learn how to fire a range of classic weapons like mortars and muskets (mind your eyebrows!), go on an SAS woodland patrol and try clay-pigeon shooting. At the end of the day, the best driver will get to crush a car with a 56 ton Chieftain tank! Lunch is included, and you even get to keep your camo suit. So leave the tv behind and come and get in touch with your rough and ready side!
