Polo: a game that involves hitting a small ball with a long stick whilst travelling at speed on board a vehicle with a mind of its own. Sound insane? It's time to find out for yourself, even if you're not a royal or a snake-hipped Argentinian. And even if you don't know how to ride. You'll start off being briefed on the basic rules and theory of polo by expert instructors. Then you'll have lots of time to practice ball hitting, polo riding, hooking and riding off (don't worry, all the terminology will be explained). The polo ponies are well-schooled and there will be an instructor by your side. After your training you'll change into proper polo gear and mount your horse, and then it's time to put what you've learnt into practice as you play an instructional chukka. After, you can stay and watch matches being played for the rest of the day. Fast-paced, skilful and with the fantastic sound effect of thundering hooves, polo is a great sport to play and to watch.
John Virgo is renowned for his wit, trick shots and outlandish waistcoats - but he was also a top snooker player in his own right and is a former UK champion. So he's the perfect person to help you brush up on your snooker skills, as well as being fantastic company and great for a bit of snooker gossip! Your experience begins when you meet John for a chat about the game, before a demonstration of the skills and trick shots that have made John a snooker legend. Then you'll play a frame while John offers tips and advice to help you improve your game. The session ends with a QandA session, and you'll get a signed gift to take home. John is a real snooker showman, as happy telling anecdotes as he is giving you expert advice, so you're in for a memorable time - and you'll still manage to improve your snooker game!

You'll start off being briefed on the basic rules and theory of polo by expert instructors, including ball hitting, polo riding, hooking and riding off (don't worry, all the terminology will be explained). Then you'll mount a mechanical horse to learn the basic polo swings. Next you'll mount a polo pony (a real one this time) to improve your skills and take part in a 'stick and ball' session. After a buffet lunch there's a video on game tactics, more stick and ball sessions and finally, instructional chukkas so you can put all your new skills into practice. Fast-paced and skilful, polo is an exciting, challenging sport (even without an HRH).
We can't all score a try at Twickenham, but this experience at least lets you play out some of your rugby dreams. Your experience starts when you meet Bath, England and British Lions legend Gareth Chilcott. After a tea or coffee, Gareth will take you on a tour of Twickenham, including the England team dressing room, the Royal Box, the players' tunnel and even the hallowed turf from the pitch side (we challenge you not to imagine you're running out to the roar of the home crowd!). Then visit the interactive Museum of Rugby, which houses the most extensive collection of rugby memorabilia in the world. You will also each receive a ten percent discount voucher to use in the rugby store at the end of your tour. Along the way, you'll have plenty of time to get playing tips from Gareth, as well as some insider gossip - Gareth is full of funny stories and anecdotes. Dare you to call him Cooch.
