So you're not old enough to drive yet, let alone attempt drifting? You are with this brilliant experience, specially designed for youngsters who just can't wait to get behind the wheel. Originating in Japan, drifting involves manipulating your vehicle to go sideways for as long as possible - with style of course. You'll start with a full safety briefing before stepping into a purpose-built Ford Rally Sport Trainer with an experienced instructor where you will learn clutch control, steering and braking techniques. Once you are comfortable with basic driving controls, you'll be taught the skills of drifting, such as a powerslide, Scandinavian flick, Choku Dori, Feint Drift and handbrake turns. Enjoy developing these newfound skills to increase precision and finesse and before you know it, you'll be perfecting the kind of sideway slides seen in the movies! Receive marks on your overall car control and finish with a debrief and certificate presentation. Release your inner speed freak!

Who'd want to be stuck indoors throughout the the summer when you could get acquainted with the exciting world of watersports on this fantastic introduction to dinghy sailing? With the benefit of qualified instructors and specialist sailing boats (excellent for learning on the safe enclosed lagoon) at your disposal, progression is likely to be swift. You will learn how to safely navigate your dinghy around a buoyed course to bring in balance, sail set and steer, capsize recovery and gain some important general safety awareness of other water users. Break for lunch then it's back onto the water to put those skills you've been learning to the test. With instructors on hand to give you pointers and guide you through when the going gets tough, we think you will really enjoy this challenging but rewarding experience. You'll even walk away with a RYA Dinghy Sailing Experience Stage One certification to impress your friends with. So go ahead and be prepared to be blown away!
In a nutshell, polo is a game that involves hitting a small ball with a long stick while sitting astride a beautiful polo horse - easy! Don't worry if you don't know how to ride, the horses are very friendly and know exactly what they are doing. You'll start off by being briefed on the basic rules and theory of polo by expert instructors. Then you'll have lots of time to practice ball hitting, polo riding, hooking and riding off (and all the terminology will be explained we promise!). The polo ponies are very well-schooled and there will be an instructor by your side to help and encourage you all the way. After your theory training you'll mount your polo pony, and then it's time to put what you've learnt into practice as you play an instructional chukka or game - a mini polo match! Why not stay and watch the Club chukkas and tournaments being played for the rest of the day? You'll be amazed what you can achieve in just a single lesson, polo is a great sport both to play and to watch.
Enter football training heaven at a Goals Soccer Centre, home of some of the premier five-a-side football venues in the country. You and up to nine of your football mad friends spend the first hour of your experience developing your passing, dribbling, defending and shooting skills, under the guidance of an FA or SFA qualified coach. Then break for a bite to eat during which you and your fellow team mates have the opportunity to ask the coach any questions and pick up tips on how to improve your game. As the second half gets under way, go for it and apply those newly developed skills in a 30 min five-a-side match, under the watchful eye of your coach who will continue to provide input into your technique. After the match there will be a presentation where every single player receives an attendance certificate, a medal and a football to take away. In addition the coach will present certificates for the Goal of the Game, Man of the Match and the Fair Play award. May the best team win!
Especially for 10 to 17 year olds, a chance to drive a purpose built Ford Rally Sport Trainer before a thrilling high speed ride in a Focus Diesel Rally car, plus a tricky rally challenge for two accompanying adults. The Ford RST delivers a perfect balance of power and steering control for you to reproduce those sideways slides often seen on TV. You'll start with a full briefing and be shown clutch control, steering and braking techniques to develop your skills before hitting the track. Your instructor will call the corners as you power your way round the tarmac surface test stage. You will be marked on your overall car control and the person with the highest scores will be entered on the website 'Hall of Fame'. Finish with three hot laps driven by an instructor, debrief and certificate presentation. Your two adult guests will each enjoy a five minute rally taster.
