Learning to ski is fantastic fun and very rewarding, especially when you're sharing the experience with a friend! In most of Britain we don't get much snow and moving to Norway would be a bit over the top, so instead we've sorted out this cool skiing experience at SnowDome, the UKs top real snow centre. It's perfect for complete beginners, whether the two of you just want to try out something new, or whether you both want to get some practise in before going on holiday. First off your instructor will run through the safety requirements and information you need to know and will go over all the equipment. Then it's your go - try out some basic moves and techniques before going down the slope, zigzagging from left to right and back again. Don't worry if it sounds a bit hard - you can encourage one another and your instructor will give you loads of help. We know that you'll have a really exciting time and your experience could signify the start of a life-long love of this amazing sport.

Originating in Japan, drifting involves manipulating your vehicle to go sideways for as long as possible - with style of course. You'll start with a full safety briefing before stepping into a purpose-built Ford Rally Sport Trainer with an experienced instructor where you will learn clutch control, steering and braking techniques. Once you are comfortable with basic driving controls, you'll be taught the skills of drifting, such as a powerslide, Scandinavian flick, Choku Dori, Feint Drift and handbrake turns. Enjoy developing these newfound skills to increase precision and finesse and before you know it, you'll be perfecting the kind of sideway slides seen in the movies!
