A llama trek? In England?? Yes, that's right, llama trekking is no longer the preserve of herdsmen in the Peruvian Andes. Llamas are perfect companions for an English country walk - affectionate, intelligent and happy to carry all your stuff! There's also something relaxing about their gentle presence, which makes a countryside trek even more pleasurable. You'll receive a warm and informative welcome in the reception room, before taking the reins of your llama and heading out on a two-hour trek. Your fluffy new friend will happily carry your rucksack and camera as you walk through beautiful English countryside, a mixture of woodland and open fairway. Each trek is guided and there will usually be one llama companion per trekker, although when busy there may be one llama per couple. There'll be plenty of great photo opportunities and afterwards you can meet the rest of the herd of 50-odd llamas. You are also welcome to picnic at the farm.

Horse riding isn't just spoiled little girls cajoling fat ponies round the gymkhana course - it's relaxing, exciting and refreshingly outdoorsy. So whether you're a novice or an experienced rider we're sure that you'll love this riding day. Staff always appreciate an early arrival so that you can all get registered and help make sure the experience begins promptly and runs to time. You'll start off with a half hour lesson within the grounds of the riding school, during which your instructor will assess your abilities to plan your next activity. Then you'll either continue with your lesson or go out on a hack (including walk and trot) in lovely English countryside or woodland. On your first visit, cantering is not allowed outside the arenas. Over the course of the experience you'll have three hours' riding, taking place before and after a hearty three course lunch, which you'll thoroughly deserve - riding is pretty physical and there's nothing like fresh air to make a person hungry!
An eagle in flight is incredibly beautiful - but since eagles' natural habitats tend to be very remote, it's also very rare. With this experience you'll have the chance to get up close and personal with this deadly predator, and see their majesty and power first hand. Your experience begins with a guided tour of the bird of prey centre, where you'll see the various eagles in residence and get the chance to learn all about them. Then you'll receive expert one-to-one instruction on how to handle a bird, and find out about how they are trained. After lunch, stride out into beautiful British countryside with your instructor, where you'll fly an eagle to the glove (in Yorkshire get the chance to fly more than one type of eagle). It's an amazing opportunity to see these dramatic birds up close and watch their spellbinding flight - and there can't be many thrills to match the experience of an eagle coming in to land on your glove.
Discover your inner cowboys or cowgirls on this great trail ride in the New Forest, England's answer to the Wild West (more trees, not so many cacti). You'll be riding a beautiful Western Paint horse, western-style - this style of riding is easier to learn and feels more secure than riding English-style, so it's great even for beginners. And those cowboys had to spend all day in the saddle, so they made darn sure it was comfortable! The stresses of everyday life will drift away as you head off on a two-hour trail through beautiful countryside, led by experienced wranglers. Back at the ranch, enjoy a barbecue meal and plenty of hot coffee. Rawhide!
