Should you go on a sight-seeing cruise on the Thames? Are the views better from the London Eye? Or should you just cut to the chase and have a nice dinner somewhere? With this experience you can do all three. You may have to queue a bit but it'll certainly be worth it when you climb aboard your air-conditioned capsule of the London Eye. The Eye slowly turns, giving you sensational panoramic views across London from 135 metres up. Then later, board Bateaux London's river cruiser from the glass pontoon at Embankment Pier for a welcome cocktail. There's cabaret entertainment during your four course a la carte meal before after-dinner dancing. But don't let the great food distract you from the fabulous views, as you cruise past the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London and many more iconic landmarks. Depending on the season you'll cruise at dusk or in darkness, with the city lit up along the river. This is a wonderful way to see the city from two unique perspectives.
The Orient-Express conjures up images of a more glamorous age - and of a more stylish approach to travelling. On this experience you'll find out just why the train has such a fabulous reputation, and revel in luxury and nostalgia as you slip through the British countryside while enjoying a delicious meal. You can choose from lunch or dinner on board the Northern Belle from cities outside London and lunch on the British Pullman from London Victoria. The Northern Belle is inspired by the Belle trains of the 1930s, and each carriage has its own unique character. The British Pullman's carriages date from the 1920s and 1930s, all lovingly restored. Your meal will be freshly prepared and served with champagne and wine, and while the exact itinerary will vary according to your choice of train and location, we know that you'll fall in love with the romance of these beautiful trains.
