 Country Pursuits Adventure Day for Two
Lord about in a Land Rover, crack off a few shots with your 12 bore shotgun and dine opulently; this experience is a perfect chance to see how the other half live. Start your day with coffee, tea and bacon rolls, then receive a safety briefing and get teamed up before moving onto the action. Escorted by your highly trained instructor, your team will try the first of the activities available throughout the day, be that clay shooting on the fully equipped range, driving an open shell two-seater dune buggy, a spot of archery or getting back to nature driving a 4x4. Have a go at each of the four pursuits in turn during your memorable day in the wild. Sit down together and discuss who was best at what as all participants enjoy fine dining in the All Seasons restaurant where you will be sufficiently pampered with a four-course gourmet meal, before heading back out for some more japery. Conclude the experience at The Lodge with drinks at the bar and superb homemade cakes.

Let's be honest, golf is not an easy sport to master. There is nothing terribly intuitive about hitting a tiny ball with a long stick, so even experienced players can sometimes benefit from some coaching - and we're confident that your game will come on in leaps and bounds (or should that be drives and putts?). Your experience starts with a two and a half hour session covering all aspects of set up, swing techniques and a short game, including a brief analysis of your performance, either by video or using Explanar, an alternative golf training tool designed specifically to develop all aspects of your swing. In the afternoon you'll then be taken onto the golf course where you can put the tuition into practice under the supervision of the professional. The itinerary is subject to change depending on the standard of attendees. Lunch is included. And a free mail golf service will be available for the three months following your experience (maximum six emails).

Then you'll play a frame while John offers tips and advice to help you improve your game. The session ends with a QandA session, and you'll get a signed gift to take home. John is a real snooker showman, as happy telling anecdotes as he is giving you expert advice, so you're in for a memorable time - and you'll still manage to improve your snooker game!
