With this experience you'll learn a lot - all about the different types of sushi, fish, rice and vegetable ingredients, as well as tips on how to make it yourself at home. It's run by the experts at YO! Sushi, who enjoy what they do and help make your experience great fun. Your class will start off with a talk on the history of sushi before watching a demonstration by a top YO! chef. Then it's your turn to try it for yourself, preparing three different types of sushi, with the expert advice and help of the chef who remains on hand should you need assistance. You'll learn and then enjoy a special YO! bento box (because you're bound to be hungry with all the sumptuous food around). You'll even take home a sushi rolling mat - essential for your new hobby as a home sushi chef!

Hazlewood Castle was mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086, and has been the location for some spectacular feasting down the centuries. Now it's the perfect location for this great foodie experience. You'll start off with a glass of champagne, followed by a two course lunch at the fabulous Restaurant Anise (where the cooking has come on a lot since 1086). Then you'll go for a brief tour of the castle. Next it's time for some hands-on fun, with a two-hour cookery demonstration from esteemed head chef Tim Hamer. Tim started his career at the Grosvenor House hotel (previously known as Le Meridien Grosvenor House) and has several years experience working at top level. He'll show you how to prepare a variety of dishes, some classic, others with a twist. The demonstration includes a tasting session and you'll get copies of the recipes to take home. Remember to leave room for afternoon tea and cakes at Restaurant Anise at the end of your experience.
If you're partial to a tipple and want to see the processes behind the art of winemaking yourself, what nicer experience than this wine tour indulgence? Denbies Wine Estate is the UK's largest vineyard and is set in beautiful Surrey countryside. Make yourself comfortable in the circular cinema to watch and learn about the whole winemaking process, from planting to harvesting. Then take your seat on their indoor train and enter a working winery to see the journey of a picked grape to the bottling of the finished product. Taste three different varieties of wine when you go into the cellars. As you sit back in comfort on a train tour of the vineyard, your guide gives you a full commentary on the history of the estate. Your experience includes a tasty two course lunch with wine and coffee in the Gallery restaurant. To top it off, a bottle of Denbies Wine Estate sparkling wine and an informative book of wine tasting tips each are all yours to take home and enjoy.

Need we say more? This fabulous chocolate workshop begins with an informative talk on the history of chocolate, either by a master chocolatier, who served as the Head Pastry Chef at the Ritz Hotel in both London and Paris, or by an experienced chocolatier. Sample the chocolate fountain before you move onto the creative part of the workshop, making truffle fillings, then dipping your truffles into Belgian chocolate and decorating them with a variety of toppings and coverings. As a delicious memento of your experience you'll take home between 40 and 50 Belgian chocolates each, all wrapped, designed and made by you, to share with friends and family - or to save as a special treat.
Visit the home of Glenmorangie - one of Scotland's finest malt whiskies - for a fascinating tour and a warm Highland welcome. You'll arrive in time for afternoon tea at the five-star Glenmorangie Hotel. Meet your fellow guests over pre-dinner drinks and enjoy a traditional Scottish supper. Then put your feet up by the fire and enjoy the ambience at this intimate, cosy hotel. The next day you'll be chauffeured to the Glenmorangie Distillery for a tour, malt whisky tasting and lunch. The distillery has been making Glenmorangie the same way since 1843, and you'll learn about the craftsmanship of the legendary 'Sixteen Men of Tain' who work there. Back at the house, a tutored malt whisky tasting is followed by a fabulous Highland evening: a black tie gala dinner, with a sumptuous set Scottish menu (pipes and haggis included!) followed by a ceilidh and a second night's accommodation at the hotel.
