Join a top specialist skills school in London for a day, it's where many artists go to practise. Choose from either circus skills or cowboy skills at Britain's top centre for the circus arts and have fun learning different skills in a supportive environment. This experience gives you the chance to try either cowboy skills (which includes knife-throwing, whip-cracking and lassoing) or circus skills (including tight wire walking, juggling, acrobatics and flying trapeze). Full and constant instruction is included so you're sure to learn some really impressive moves. The Circus Space is a registered charity which works to redefine perceptions of circus and broaden its appeal. It is one of the top three circus schools in Europe and a member of the European Federation of Circus Schools and the UK's Circus Arts Forum.

Take a behind-the-scenes look at conservation in action from those in the know, the people who manage and look after this important site. Aston Rowant is a fantastic place to see Red Kites, reintroduced in this country by staff from Natural England. It's also a haven for some of the country's most beautiful birds, mammals, insects and flowers. The enthusiastic staff are all trained to work with children and provide education and activities about the natural world and our place within it. It isn't Africa, nor a zoo, so we can't guarantee any spectacular big game sightings, but we hope you will share our enthusiasm for the little things that form the tapestry of our own special landscape in England. It doesn't have to be big to be beautiful, so take an opportunity to get up close and personal with some small things which come in beautiful packages.
Did you ever dream of running away to join the circus when you were a kid? Or perhaps you preferred playing cowboys and Indians? Well this day will show you the skills required to be both Coco the Clown and Billy the Kid. In the morning try your hand at the skills which defined the cowboys of the Wild West - lassoing, whip cracking and knife throwing from ten paces. After lunch and a chance to get your breath back, you'll learn the circus skills that entertain crowds worldwide. These include acrobatic balancing, juggling, tight wire walking and the amazing flying trapeze. If it all sounds impossible, and frankly pretty scary, don't worry; you'll be under constant expert supervision, within a carefully controlled environment. All equipment hire is included, and you'll also get lunch at the nearby Juggler Cafe. Just bring a sense of humour, bags of energy and willingness to look like a bit of a clown...

Come along to the session having rehearsed your song or piece, and after a run-through you'll make three recordings. A session engineer and studio staff will guide you through the process, giving you expert advice and tips on how to get the best from your voice (and they'll be a lot more friendly than Simon Cowell). You'll also get a feel for what happens behind the scenes in the music industry - and maybe get to hear some stories about the stars. You can also bring along guests to act as groupies!
